Minnesota is one of the most innovative and proficient electronic producers to come out of the West Coast bass music movement. His sound breaks aways from the various subgenres of EDM but holds onto origins of dubstep and hip-hop, creating a truly authentic experience for his audience. Early on in his career Minnesota said, “My goal is to make bass heavy dubstep/glitch-hop music that’ll get you dancing, but it is not the same old three note transformer step… I try to focus more on the melodic side of dubstep, and hopefully, make quality songwriting a more relevant factor in the genre.” For the past four years Minnesota has followed through on his word and designed smooth, melodic, uplifting sounds, which fans have celebrated nationwide.

The guy behind the name 'GANZ' is Jordy Saämena. Hailing from the Netherlands, this Producer/DJ extraordinaire quickly developed a deep love for hip hop and electronica at a young age. After his critically acclaimed debut "Purple Cwtch E.P." dropped on the Terrorhythm label in 2013, GANZ has been on somewhat of a global takeover mission. He released a slurry of his trademark "Flips" of other people's tracks, remixing acts such as What so not ,Flume x Hermitude, A-trak, Snakehips, Alison Wonderlandand f.i. Crystal fighters and others which skyrocketed him into the global bass music stratosphere. Soon after, Jordy felt the time was right to start putting together some original music, releasing his “Dino War EP” in April 2015. Support for his records have come in from the likes of A-trak , Mr Carmack, Gilles Peterson, Eclair Fifi, Slugabed, Flume, Djemba Djemba, What So Not, Lido, Disclosure, Rustie, Hudson Mohawke and many many more.
GANZ is stubborn and hard-headed - in a positive way – getting him to where he is at the moment. Being so determined also helped him decide to launch his own label aptly called - “The Hard Headed”.
GANZ is always on the lookout to sign new talents who share the same vision as he has – “The hard-headed grind harder.” Besides producing and being a label owner, GANZ is touring all over the world with his DJ and Livesets.
GANZ started 2016 with a bang, GANZ by releasing “GAOBEAR” the first single and video of his forthcoming “GAO” EP at February 5th on The Hard Headed. GAOBEAR a brutal electronic hiphop banger.
After this GANZ released a huge collab with “What So Not” called “Lone” with a featuring of Australian upcoming talent “JOY”. Lone was release via OWSLA, Sweat it out and GANZ’s imprint “The Hard Headed. This succesfull single was followed up by GANZ his “GAO” ep which got support from the major blogs.
GANZ started 2017 with a bang, releasing his cross-over single “Whatever You Choose”, which is played on BBC Radio 1 and Triple J. With this single being a strong start of 2017, forthcoming releases are locked in already. Of which one is the official remix of Wilkinson’s “We Will Be” which will be released via Virgin at the end of April.
GANZ, the future of bass, electronic and hip hop music is as Hard Headed as they come – and thankfully so.

Since their emergence in 2006, SpectraSoul have carved a truly unique position, not only in Drum & Bass, but electronic music as a whole. Having released music on only the very finest and most respected labels in the scene, from Goldie's legendary Metalheadz, to dBridge's boundary breaking Exit Records, and Kasra's ever progressive Critical Music, they went on to become vital members of Friction's irrepressible Shogun Audio imprint.

Their creative evolution has seen them incorporate such a variety of tempos and moods - bending genres in the process - yet their underlying sound remains instantly recognisable, and in many ways unique.
The breadth of their creative influences is a rarity within their peer group; taking influence not only from a unique mixture of musical genres and moments in time, but also from wider fields such as photography, art, film and beyond.
With the release of their debut album 'Delay No More' in July 2012, SpectraSoul received well-earned critical acclaim from an idiosyncratic plethora of supporters, and impacted, not only on UK shores, but across the globe leading to a touring schedule covering 4 continents and 30 countries, as well as radio support from far and wide. With the singles 'Light In The Dark' and 'Away With Me' gaining heavy rotation on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and 6Music. The world tour that followed saw the duo playing extended 3 hour sets to allow them to showcase their discography, as well as the breadth of their taste within the 170bpm format. With this success came a string of high profile remixes for artists such as Jungle, John Newman, Raleigh Ritchie, Benzel, and Dornik, all of which gained support from specialist radio figureheads such as Annie Mac, Mistajam, Huw Stephens, Friction and others. With this success came a string of high profile remixes for artists such as Jungle, Rag N Bone Man, Dornik, Rudimental, Raleigh Ritchie and Benzel, all of which gained support from specialist radio figureheads such as Annie Mac, Mistajam, Huw Stephens, Friction and others.
2016 saw the duo spread their wings and launch their very own label, Ish Chat Music. With the release of three EPs in twelve months, they drastically upped the frequency and diversity of their output, with experimental tracks sitting alongside straight up club music. 001 to 003 garnered wide-ranging support from Radio 1and Beats 1 and from a variety of highly respected music media outlets such as DJ Mag, MixMag, Resident Advisor.
The final quarter of 2017 will see the release of their third studio album, ‘How We Live’; the fourth release on their own imprint. The album is an exploration of the underground sonic pallette and a return to the core ideals that formed the drum and bass genre; uncompromising, energetic, experimental and danceable. The duo, in their trademark fashion, straddle the varying styles within the genre and showcase, once again, the diversity of their production capabilities.

As one of dubstep's original pioneers and its most recognizable selector, London-based Youngsta is a name synonymous with UK music. His 10+ year career in dubstep traces the history of the genre, developing long-lasting relationships with RinseFM and Tempa Recordings which highlight his innate ability as a seminal curator.
Youngsta was one of the first DJs to play dubstep on Rinse FM alongside Hatcha and Kode9 in the early part of last decade. As he’s borne witness to every mutation of the sound, his shows feature new music from developing producers while premiering tunes from established artists like J:Kenzo, Icicle and Proxima.
With a presence that spans the globe, Youngsta has toured extensively in Europe, North America and Australia. His legendary Contact night continues to grow, introducing a unique mix of artists from across the bass music spectrum. In addition to his A&R position at Tempa, Youngsta launched his new Sentry label with recent releases from DBridge and Nomine.
In addition to an upcoming 12-inch single w/ Merkee Ledge released on Artikal Music in June, he's putting the finishing touches on a massive collaborative album with TRUTH due out late-Summer.
While FORT KNOX FIVE compose music like a band in the studio, Steve Raskin and Jon H started off as DJs. They pioneered a unique
live DJ set using mashedup acapellas and effects woven into original tracks, exclusive mixes and dance floor destroyers. These sets
rock parties with infectious grooves that effortlessly move from funk, reggae, and hiphop to prime time 4/4 beats and breaks and
have proven irresistible to club goers worldwide.
Fort Knox Five has had the honor and privilege to work with some amazing vocalists over the years . The most recent collaboration is
the stripped down funk banger “Don't Go.” with DC funk legend Sir Joe Quarterman who had his first hit in 1973 with “(I Got) So
Much Trouble In My Mind”. To have an opportunity to record such a classic voice and present it with a modern twist is what Fort
Knox has always been about.
Last spring saw the release of Fort Knox Five's second full length album, "Pressurize the Cabin" and every song has been getting
remixed and released as a single. FK5 have enlisted their friends and fellow funky electronic producers from around the world to flip
up the original tracks. The remixers read like a who’s who of contemporary funky electronica including: Deekline, DJ Dan & Mike
Balance, Wes Smith, Worthy, Slynk, Neighbour, Ursula 1000, Skiitour, Dirty Dubsters, Mat the Alien, Sabo, Smalltown DJs, Basement
Freaks, Omegaman, Bobby C Sound TV, Pumpkin, Qdup, Bart & Baker Warp9 and more! Fort Knox Five has always embraced remix
culture and they drop these remixes in their eclectic sets which allows them to play their own songs in different styles and genres.
It’s been a hard year for the Fort Knox Five who have soldiered on after the loss of founding member Jon H who was a driving force
in the group and the music industry. In the wake of Jon H’s tragic passing the group has picked up the pieces and is moving forward
with the band and the label with a renewed sense of purpose and drive. Founding member Steve Raskin has taken over as the
principle DJ for the group and now leads the charge of the Fort Knox brigade on the road into the funky future.

Since the age of 14 Mat has been mixing , scratching and making mixes - beats , spanning many genres , tempos and styles , but always having one thing in common - heavy beats and bass lines with lots of cuts and turntable tricks thrown in.
It all started after hearing the electronic sounds being played in the warehouse party's around the northwest of England in 88. Taking it back Mats dad opened a record store in 1978 called Vibes Records (#1 independent record store in the UK) and eventually a second store Muze in Bury just out side Manchester where his parents grew up.Being around music from an early age lead to Mat taking up the drums at age 10 and it wasn't until 1988 that he stumbled upon the underground Acid House scene taking over the UK warehouses. From then on he searched out where this music was from and how it was put together on the turntables. Muze records became a store where the locals djs came to get the new underground sounds and mat began playing his first shows before he was even old enough to get into the venues. He played sets on many pirate radio shows and began doing some shows and charts on the Intallex radio show run by XTC and Marcus Intallex. Then came scratching through seeing XTC and after hearing a tape from Dj Hype on Fantasy FM. Many nights were spent ruining records and cutting back and forth trying to figure out how Hype got those crazy transformer sounds. These were the days before internet tutorials and dvds so it was a lot more trial and error.
In 1995 mat and his family moved to whistler Canada to pursue his new addiction of snowboarding and he met djs like Vinyl Ritchie and Kilo Cee who were playing diverse sets dropping Hip Hop into Funk into electronic music . Whistler had mixed crowds too from all over the world and mat enjoyed doing sets where you could flip from genre to genre and add lots of cuts in there too.
Described by Knowledge Magazine as 'awe-inspiring' & 'some next level shit.' Mat has toured across the globe and performed in 15 countries from Miami to Moscow at Sports events such as the US Supercross , Olympic Games (Torino & Whistler) , X Games & many of Canada largest festivals of up to 15,000 people, also pioneering club nights in Whistler & Vancouver and held down a bi-weekly club night in Las Vegas at Eye Candy (Mandalay Bay).
Original music and Remixes are coming fast and furious , they have been featured on many T.V. shows , DVDs and Webisodes .
Mats latest remixes have been played on Rinse FM by Om Unit and BBC Radio 1 by B.Traits as well as support from Addison Groove , Chrissy Murderbot , Doshy , 6Blocc and more.
His Remixes for Nick Thayer, South Rakkas(Featured on Diplos Mad Decent Blog) , and also original music have received positive feedback and plays from some of the industry’s biggest names . His skratches can be heard on tracks by Fort Knox Five, Eprom - Ill Gates , Mochipet , Sweatshop Union & EA Sports NBA Home Court 3. Now also touring with his video / DJ set and he is taking the solo DJ act to new heights, hitting all of the senses with custom remix and video edits witnessed at the World Ski & Snowboard Festival & Shambhala to name a couple . His Jaime L’Dubstep mix cd has so far 70 000 downloads and still going and he plans on doing more in the near future.
2012 saw the Re-launch of (Really Good Recordings) and will feature his own music alongside some of Canada’s finest electronic producers .
Mat joined his friends Zeds Dead on a Bus tour across Canada and US dates including shows with Araab Muzik and was received with an amazing response.
He is also is also a official monster Energy DJ and can be found DJing at some of their top sporting events events alongside and often Jamming with djs like z Trip and Nu Mark and also getting to pull out the occasional 45 set.
Catch mat at Really Good Tuesdays at the Maxx Fish Whistler (5 years and still going strong) and on tour most weekends.

From weeks-long tours in Europe to crafting incredible beats in his home studio, Abstrakt Sonance has been steadily making progress in the electronic music business for awhile now. Abstrakt Sonance has been making music in his “cave” for almost five years, but in short time, he has accomplished more than most. At first, he borrowed a computer to produce, releasing beats sporadically, but now he owns his own home which he has converted into a full-on studio.
With a demanding and aggressive stage presence, Abstrakt has opened for big names like Tech N9ne, Propa Tingz, Mat the Alien, Emotionz, Stylust, Yan Zombie, and continues to big huge opening slots and festivals, while touring around on his own. Playing close to 100 shows, and releasing 4 studio albums in 3 years as a producer, Abstrakt is sure to continue his epic saga through the musical universe.
Abstrakt’s live mixing is only one element of his character; beginning production around the same time as mixing, he has improved steadily, blending virtually every genre of electronic music with a base in heavy dubstep, and now performs full sets with all-original beats. Abstrakt has produced 16 albums across several genres, and to kick off 2012, Abstrakt released 3 albums in 3 months! After finishing a road tour with world-famous Emotionz, Abstrakt jumped on a plane for his first European tour, and was being asked to come back THE DAY HE ARRIVED! There he played alongside the likes of Zed’s Dead, Dirty Little Toaster, Truth and Moxix.

SHINY THINGS come from dirty places: rolling in rave dust since childhood, the colorful vibes awoken during prepubescent trips in the desert have transmuted into some of the future sounds of today. From the interior groves of the west coast, this one’s a contributor; when not on stage you’ll find him on the floor, with glistening wits and moves for days. Selections all with good taste, these hyphy but paced, futuristic but deeply rooted psychedelic sounds are delightfully hype at any hour.
